After the approval form is complete, you are ready to upload the document to OhioLINK. Follow the instructions in the document below.

Entering Special Characters on the OhioLINK website
However, use caution when completing the abstract section of the OhioLINK site. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE your abstract into the field if you have used any type of special formatting or characters (such as Greek or Latin). You will need to first replace the characters with entities (codes). Please use the guide listed below for complete instructions on inserting entities.

When Uploading Your Thesis Fails
Unfortunately it is common for large files to become corrupted during the upload process. FOR THIS REASON IT IS IMPORTANT TO TEST YOUR UPLOADED DOCUMENT IN THE FINAL STEP OF SUBMISSION TO OhioLINK. BE SURE TO CLICK THE LINK TO YOUR UPLOADED DOCUMENT TO MAKE SURE IT OPENS CORRECTLY. If you receive an error message such as "File Corrupt" you will need to follow the alternate upload procedures listed below.

Submission to Graduate School
Once your ETD has been uploaded to OhioLINK, you need to turn it in to the Graduate School on a CD, along with necessary paperwork. Note that this has to be done within the Thesis/Dissertation deadline for that quarter.
What do I need to submit to the Graduate School?
Computer Resources Available to You
Student Technology Resources Center (STRC) - Langsam Library - The main UC library, Langsam Library, provides a computer lab with required software to create your ETD. Some assistance may be available from lab staff. The STRC is located on the fourth floor of Langsam Library. Their phone number is 556-1980.
UCit-Maintained Computer Labs - are available in numerous locations around campus. Be sure to check their website for the hours of operation, which vary by lab.
ETD Helpdesk - A helpdesk is staffed by the Graduate School to assist students in working through difficulties in the process of creating their ETDs. Phone calls are welcome and in-person assistance is available by appointment. Call 556-1496.
